\"\"<\/a>My parents tell me the story that I have been reading since age 3, I don\u2019t know how true this is but I go with it! The first books<\/a> I do remember actually reading, without the audio tapes, were Noddy<\/strong><\/a>! They were my absolute favourites as a kid!<\/p>\n

I got the idea of starting this READING CHALLENGE from just browsing the web and noticing this \u201cRory Gilmore Reading Challenge\u201d. I just loved the show Gilmore Girls<\/strong><\/a> and also the theme song because I love Carole King<\/a>! Rory Gilmore read so much and mentioned so many books that I had to take up the challenge myself and like Barney Stinson would say; \u201cChallenge Accepted\u201d. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Some books that are quite popular at the moment: Silver Linings Playbook<\/a>, The Life Of Pi, Les Miserables<\/a>, Breaking Dawn, The Hunger Games<\/a>! What do you think of these books? Or did you prefer the movie<\/a>?<\/p>\n

With so many ways to obtain books<\/a>. I\u2019ve no problem getting my hands on them! E-books are great and usually a lot cheaper than paper backs. If you are concerned about the environment and not happy with trees being cut down to make books, e-readers are awesome and you can get a Gobi e-reader<\/a>, the options are endless! You can even read a book on your Apple iPhone<\/a> or Samsung Galaxy S3<\/a> or which ever smartphone you have.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I personally love the smell of books and fanning the pages but a friend has convinced me to try out a Kindle<\/a>!\u00a0So I might just get it \u2013 although I’ll have to compare first as there are so many to choose from. Its ultra convenient if you travel often and this way tour books won’t get damaged.<\/p>\n

So, are there any of you out there who would like to join me on this challenge?<\/p>\n

I will publish a list of books, about 10 I intend to read every 2 months!
