For all gamers and gaming enthusiasts, the long wait is over. The good news is that the game has gone back to its roots i.e. Underground Racing.The previous edition being NFS: Pro Street caused uproar in that it made the racing legal (i.e. on race tracks, at Motorsport facilities for drag racing) and many critics believed the NFS franchise was beginning to loose its original strength and following.<\/p>\n

The much anticipated Need For Speed Undercover is here, and is set to launch in North America on 18 November 2008 and 21 November in Europe. The release date for South Africa is 17 November 2008\u00c2\u00a0 according to EA Sports. In NFS Undercover, the player is to be an undercover agent for the police in Tri City. Tri City is a fictional city for the game as Gotham City is for the Batman franchise.<\/p>\n

There are various new features that have been discussed on gaming forums or been indicated by EA Sports. There is the open map world, making it the biggest road map ever created by EA Sports. There is also mention of police cars being used by the gamer in certain stages and also Electronic Arts have confirmed that helicopters have joined the police infrastructure. Although it seems that Helicopters will not be under the influence of the player\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6.<\/p>\n
