However they have a small problem which might raise the attention of Apple&#8217;s lawyers in California.<\/p>\n<p>Acer might also want to be checking on their legal team as I suspect Apple will challenge them on the intellectual property of\u00a0 their cloud product. The naming of the product plus the product information does have a number of similarities to those found from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pricecheck.co.za\/search\/?search=Apple\" target=\"_blank\">Apple<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One example of the similarities:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The explanation of the cloud service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.pricecheck.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/AcerCloud-Apple-iCloud-comparison.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2840\" title=\"AcerCloud Apple iCloud comparison\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.pricecheck.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/AcerCloud-Apple-iCloud-comparison.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"207\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>AcerCloud (on the left) and Apple iCloud (on the right), the similarity is definitely there.<\/p>\n<p>It seems Acer has joined <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pricecheck.co.za\/search\/?search=Samsung\" target=\"_blank\">Samsung<\/a> in liberally using Apple products as examples for their future products.<\/p>\n<p>From all the early press releases coming out of Las Vegas, it seems consumer electronic products (such as notebooks) with accompanying cloud <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pricecheck.co.za\/categories\/112\/Storage+%26+Media\/\" target=\"_blank\">storage<\/a> are something that all manufacturers are considering.
