Nostalgia-fans and those who lived through the 80s will find a lot to love with the new trailer for the Transformers<\/em><\/a>‘ spin-off movie, Bumblebee<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Not only are we getting a new flick showcasing those beloved robots in disguise, but you’ll get to see the Transformers in their original G1 forms, too.<\/p>\n

While the likes of Optimus Prime and Soundwave will make appearances, it will be Bumblebee who will take centre-stage throughout the movie, alongside Hailee Steinfeld (Pitch Perfect<\/em>) and WWE star turned actor John Cena.<\/p>\n

The film is being directed by Travis Knight, who helmed the brilliant stop-motion films Kubo and the Two Strings<\/em> and Coraline<\/em>. Franchise veterans Michael Bay and Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce the film, along with executive producers Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian.<\/p>\n

The film will take place in 1987 before the events of the first Transformers, where battle-scarred Bumblebee, finding refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town, encounters Charlie (Steinfeld).<\/p>\n
