They&#8217;re vegan as well as gluten, dairy,\u00a0 sugar &#8230; and guilt-free! Whether you\u2019re looking for a treat after a tough workout or just want something healthier to satisfy a sweet craving, these protein pancakes are the ultimate post-gym delight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Made using tapioca flour and protein powder instead of regular flour, these simple protein pancakes are packed with good-for-you ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients:<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">(Serves 4)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 cup tapioca flour (buy it online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pricecheck.co.za\/search?search=tapioca%20flour&amp;utm_source=blog.pricecheck.co.za&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=PriceCheck%20Blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 cup Phyto Pro Pea Protein Isolate protein powder (Buy it online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pricecheck.co.za\/search?search=Phyto%20Pro%20Pea%20Protein%20Isolate&amp;utm_source=blog.pricecheck.co.za&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=PriceCheck%20Blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1 tbsp ground flaxseed<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1 1\/2 tsp baking powder<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1 tsp ground cinnamon<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1\/4 tsp Himalayan Crystal salt<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup unsweetened almond milk<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1 banana, mashed OR 1 apple, pur\u00e9ed<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">2 tbsp honey or maple syrup<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1\/2 tsp vanilla powder<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">coconut oil for cooking<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Method:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In a bowl, combine tapioca flour, pea protein powder, flaxseed, baking powder, cinnamon and salt, and mix well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Combine the rest of the ingredients in a second bowl. Slowly add half of this wet mix into the dry ingredients and stir continuously. Add the remainder of the wet ingredients little by little to avoid a runny batter, mixing well after each addition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Add a little coconut oil to a griddle or pan and melt over a medium heat.Pour around 1\/4 cup each of batter into the pan and cook for 2 \u2013 3 minutes until bubbles begin to form on the surface. Flip and cook for another 2 \u2013 3 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Repeat with the remaining batter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Want more great recipes?
