This month sees some big-name releases and sequels to earmark on your calendars, including a Steven Spielberg epic and a (very) angry Bruce Willis!<\/p>\n<h3>Ready Player One<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Release date:<\/strong> 30 March 2018<\/p>\n<p>This long-in-gestation book-to-movie adaptation directed by Steven Spielberg is set to be a visual spectacle when it arrives later this month. Set in 2044 in a dystopian future, the plot follows Wade Watts as he searches for a coveted \u2018Easter egg\u2019 in a virtual reality video game called OASIS. The <em>X-Men<\/em> star plays a highly trained Russian femme fatale whose mission is to find a traitor in the Russian government, and she has to do anything in her power to achieve that objective. The premise is rather simple, and essentially a vehicle for Willis to rack up a bodycount: Dr. Paul Kersey\u2019s wife and daughter are brutally attacked by robbers, and after the event becomes involved in increasingly dangerous episodes of vigilante justice. But the pistol-wielding adventurer is about to make an action-packed return to the silver screen with Alicia Vikander (<em>Ex Machina, Jason Bourne<\/em>) taking on the iconic role. Set before Lara becomes a hardened and experienced explorer, the plot is an adaptation of 2013&#8217;s video game reboot\u00a0storyline.
