The right-brain – home of our creative and artistic abilities; it’s a domain often underplayed. So, how do you unlock your creative potential?<\/p>\n

Van Gogh, Mozart, Tesla and Shakespeare, all pioneers in their genius, displayed groundbreaking inventiveness through their creative potential. And through their various means, we recognise the diversity of art and also see that we all have this type of creative potential.<\/p>\n

According to the insightful Ted Talk<\/a> by International fine artist John Paul Caponigro called \u201cYou\u2019re a Lot More Creative than You Think” he says, \u201cPeople are born creative. The human being is a creative species. Have you ever seen a kid that isn’t creative?\u201d<\/p>\n

This idea is further extended and emphasised in ancient Eastern philosophies, where the creative potential, the Kundalini Shakti<\/a> is seen as lying dormant in the human body and can actually be awakened through yogic practices and meditation.<\/p>\n

According to Huffington Post<\/a>\u00a0and Business\u00a0Insider<\/a>, there are a few things you can do to awaken the creative genius in you. We’ve chosen the top three out of the lot.<\/p>\n

Let Go Of The Idea of Perfect<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no perfect. The surrealist painter, Salvador Dali, says it simply \u201cHave no fear of perfection – you’ll never reach it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lastly, Make The Time<\/h3>\n

Creativity, like everything else, involves dedication and intention. There’s no need to compromise something you love for work. And there’s no need to\u00a0fill your time with mundane and fruitless activities, especially when the benefits of creativity are so remarkably worthwhile.
