Rise of the Tomb Raider<\/em> is the highly-anticipated sequel to 2013\u2019s Tomb Raider<\/em>, which is a reboot of the series franchise.<\/p>\n

The game kicks off where 2013\u2019s Tomb Raider ended. Lara Croft is still trying to understand the paranormal events that took place at Yamatai. In the search for answers, she turns to her late father\u2019s research about the lost city of Kitezh \u2013 a place that holds an artifact that promises the gift of immortality.<\/p>\n

She is cautioned not to go, but this doesn\u2019t stop her. She is in search of the Prophet of Constantinople \u2013 a key figure, who will be able to help her find the lost city. Along the way, she is faced with many challenges, most notably from a paramilitary organisation called the Trinity \u2013 <\/em>the group is also searching for the city<\/p>\n

After a ruthless fight against the Trinity, Lara discovers a girl named Nadia. She finds out that Nadia\u2019s grandfather disappeared after venturing into the Wicked Vale \u2013 a valley rumoured to be haunted by a witch named Baba Yaga.<\/p>\n

Will you be able to find this witch who, up until now, has only ever been mentioned in Russian folklore? Be careful!.<\/p>\n

Watch out for the zombies! Lara finds out that the Trinity has released an air-borne virus that turns humans into the walking dead. Why was this pathogen created, and can anything be done to eradicate it? You will need to use your intellect and solicit help in order to destroy the virus.<\/p>\n
