October 13th marks the international release for the much-anticipated Playstation<\/a> VR headset, and needless to say gamers around the world are waiting on baited breath.<\/span><\/p>\n

We take a look at everything that’s included in the standard Playstation VR home package<\/h2>\n

What makes the Playstation VR more appealing to the general public is that it doesn’t require the high-end hardware to run that it’s counterparts do. The Oculus Rift and HTC Hive both require powerful gaming PCs to operate, while the Playstation VR only requires the Playstation console, Playstation Move peripherals and Playstation Eye.<\/p>\n

Playstation are releasing a VR package that includes the VR headset and Playstation 4 console. Strange that they’re not offering a package with the Move controllers and Eye camera, but you’ll have to buy these separately if you don’t already have them.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately Playstation VR is only being released in South African in January next year, but they will be having a demo at the rAge event in Joburg this weekend.<\/p>\n
