How to find the cheapest flights on PriceCheck

0

PriceCheck’s website and mobile app’s functionality recently expanded to more than just comparing prices of products. Users can also search for the best airfare rates, across all of the available airlines.

One might think that it would be tricky to find the best flight prices from a mobile device, but the exact opposite is true. Once users select the “Flights” button in the PriceCheck app, they will be taken to a browser page for the rest of the transaction, which is handled by TravelStart. Upon landing on the initial page, there is a prompt to enter a departure and destination airport via drop-down menu. It’s important to note that it’s not limited to local flights either; travellers can fly internationally as well. Let’s use a flight from Cape Town to London, as indicated in the example below.

  • Once you’ve decided on your departure point, as well as a destination airport,   choose your preferred airline. *Please take note that this could affect the results as airline-specific search results could exclude the lowest airfare rate.
  •  Select a specific travel class, and keep in mind that this will also affect the displayed rates, particularly if a more “premium” class is selected.
  • Proceed to the next page and a list of prices will be displayed with the cheapest being highlighted at the top. Select a preferred flight, and advance to the return leg of the journey where users will once again be presented with a  list of prices, with the cheapest at the top.
  • The final step before making a reservation is a summary of the entire itinerary, including prices, before shoppers will be being asked to enter details to confirm and secure the reservation.

With the freedom to mix and match between airlines, it has to be one of the simplest and effective ways to find the best airfare rates on your next  domestic or international trip. It really is that easy!
