An inside source has informed us that there is a strong chance of the Minister of Technology, Naledi Pandor, being next on the chopping block. Now, the rumour mill is buzzing about the possibility of a dramatic rise in the prices of smartphones.

Nothing has been confirmed, but it has been hinted that there could be as much as a 50% increase in the mid – and high-end – mobile market.
“We are shocked at this development and are concerned about the impact that this disaster will have on mobile technology as a whole,” says CEO of PriceCheck, Kevin Tucker.
Consumers have already expressed horror at this unprecedented catastrophe. It’s believed that the price surge may hit the market by mid-April.
