Apple’s WWDC showcased quite a few new features from the company, including a redesigned App Store. Yesterday, Google announced a change to its Play Store – a new Android Excellence program. Android Excellence is curated by Google’s editorial team and features changing collections of apps which deliver “deliver incredible user experiences on Android” as well use many of the company’s best practices, and “have great design, technical performance, localization, and device optimization.”
Android Excellence collections will refresh quarterly and appears in the newly revamped Editor’s Choice section of the Play Store.
