2010 was the year that a lot happened. Profound, I know. I realised a few dreams and found some new ones. I made some amazing friends; I don’t think they realise how special they are to me.
I watched South Africa introduce the world to the vuvuzela. I then laughed as the world bitterly moaned about it.
I sang our anthem with an amphitheatre full of strangers and screamed, danced and cried when Tshabalala scored.
I found out I could sing better than I thought, started falling in love with Cape Town and discovered the Temper Trap.
If I were to spend New Year’s in the Northern Cape town of Kakamas, I would take good company because beauty should be shared. Plus who doesn’t love a girl’s road trip?
@Lynne_707 would be designated – please remember everything important that we will need to survive out in the wilderness so we don’t die- person, because she’s pretty good like that.
@Faerie452 will bring Andrew Lloyd Webber soundtracks, floppy hats and dry, British wit.

It was a secret, (not so secret anymore 😉 childhood dream to be one of the voices on The Muppet show… for ages!! And nearly no one knows that I can play the violin. Très badly.
