5 Useful Apps Every South African Should Have

0

One man’s trash is another’s treasure – and this extends to apps. What makes an app useful depends on your needs and its relevance to your lifestyle. However, there are some apps locationally important in terms of what country you’re in. Here are some apps specifically useful to all South Africans and were proudly made in Mzansi.

Most working class Capetonians use Metrorail as their primary means of transport. It’s affordable, available in almost all parts of Cape Town and it is convenient… or rather used to be. It’s no secret trains in Cape Town are not as reliable as before but many still depend on the train line to get to work and back. With options such as checking train times and routes, staying up to date on how late trains are and if there are any delays, is probably the most useful aspect of the GoMetro App. Train delays and faulty lines notifications are frequented enough on the app to solve the communication issue.

Available on Android, iOS, and MobiSite.
