The 7-incher tablet market is pretty competitive with brands pumping out devices; ergonomics, build quality, performance and ability to accommodate all types of multimedia is essential and Samsung has managed to construct a tough little tab with cool specs and features – and it’s affordable too!
As we mentioned earlier, one of the main draw cards is the price-to-performance ratio – this is very impressive. The Tab 4 has a high-quality build and is well designed, modern look and feel.
At first glance, the resolution may not look amazing on paper, but in practice, it’s pretty decent. The only issue is when looking at very detailed images, there’s a bit of fuzziness, but nothing that should put you off. This is also true of the 8 GB of internal storage, it may not seem like enough, but it can be expanded by slotting in a microSD card.
The camera (both rear and front-facing) is where this tab falls short. If you’re someone who shoots a couple of selfies and a few snaps with your friends, it’ll handle it, but if you want detailed images, this won’t impress you.
