This Is What The Relaunched Nokia 3310 Looks Like

0

When we first heard the news that Nokia would be unveiling a newly designed 3310 at this years Mobile World Conference needless to say we were excited.

Here’s what the relaunched Nokia 3310 will look like

The new 3310 is still very much the same phone it was in the early 2000s. A sturdily built feature phone, it has a simple Opera-based web browser, a 2 megapixel rear-facing camera and even comes with an updated version of the old 3310 fan favourite game Snake. But perhaps the best part of the new 3310 is it still has the same ridiculously long battery life that it’s predecessor had. The battery lasts for a crazy 33 hours in standby, and has 22 hours of talk time juice.

You may think that feature phones are becoming a thing of the past as smartphones become more prevalent and affordable. However, in most of Africa feature phone sales have increased in the past year while smartphone sales have slowed. This is often due to the affordability of feature phones, which spells great news for the new Nokia 3310 if it is ever released in South Africa.
