Nostalgia-fans and those who lived through the 80s will find a lot to love with the new trailer for the Transformers‘ spin-off movie, Bumblebee.
Not only are we getting a new flick showcasing those beloved robots in disguise, but you’ll get to see the Transformers in their original G1 forms, too.
While the likes of Optimus Prime and Soundwave will make appearances, it will be Bumblebee who will take centre-stage throughout the movie, alongside Hailee Steinfeld (Pitch Perfect) and WWE star turned actor John Cena.
The film is being directed by Travis Knight, who helmed the brilliant stop-motion films Kubo and the Two Strings and Coraline. Franchise veterans Michael Bay and Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce the film, along with executive producers Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian.
The film will take place in 1987 before the events of the first Transformers, where battle-scarred Bumblebee, finding refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town, encounters Charlie (Steinfeld).
