The trailer for Thor Ragnarok was released yesterday and thanks to its tongue-in-cheek humour and retro neon colour scheme, it’s been watched over 11 million times!
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi and brings back Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. We’ll also see Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without hismighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful newthreat, the ruthless Hela Goddess of Death (played by Cate Blanchett) . But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk.
The latest installation Marvel’s franchise looks to be more entertaining and thrilling than any of the previous movies we’ve seen so far and brings a far more lighthearted take on the dark, moody films that Marvel has been putting out.
