Puma has been touting its latest NRGY bead cushioning technology for a few months now, and the German brand’s newest running shoe featuring the much-talked-about feature has hit the SA market.
The company’s HYBRID Rocket implements Puma’s now-beloved Ignite foam and the new NRGY bead technology into the soles, which, in theory, should give runners the best balance of energy return and comfortability.
While the futuristic split-sole design is the highlight, the rest of the shoe is equally as impressive. The upper features Puma’s evoKnit lightweight woven fabric, which will lend itself well to keeping feet cool during long runs due to the breathable design. It will also have a bit of added lock-down created by the collared, one-piece structure.
The Hybrid Rockets are now available for R2,299 from all Puma retailers as well as the majority of the established athletic and fashion sneaker stores and online.
