So I am about 9 days early but I would like to nominate 4 products for “Electronic product of the year 2012”:
The camera startup has made waves in announcing their product line up. Disrupting one of the biggest consumer electronic categories just highlights the potential the Lytro camera has.
Truth be told, Sony has not done enough innovation on their entire PlayStation range the last 2 years. The Vita is a game changer as it incorporates functionality to Sony BRAVIA LCD TV’s and PS3. With cross platform play you can start playing a game on your PS3 console, pause the game and pick up on PS Vita right where you left off. You can also join in multiplayer games on your PS Vita and play against players on their PS3 consoles.
- Microsoft Xbox 720
Microsoft I think is beginning to realise the importance of their console platform. Through the success of the Kinect, I am expecting big things from the Microsoft Xbox 720. Integration with the desktop and Windows Phone 7 is all but confirmed.
- Apple iPad 3
Need I say more.. The rumour mill is full of potential functionality that will be seen on the iPad 3.
