Cellphones

Old School

The first mobile phone was introduced back in the 1970s, and was a long was off from anything we would consider “mobile” today. Rather, the first mobile phones looked like something that could straight up kill you if dropped from a reasonable height.

New School

Today cellphones have becomes smartphones, and are a whole lot more than just a device for making calls. With access to the internet, photo and video recording, computer operating systems and cutting edge hardware, the smartphones that we use today have changed the way that we communicate.

Televisions

Old School

Back in the day if you wanted to watch TV you had to settle for limited channels for a few hours a day shown on a grainy low definition screen. Who doesn’t remember having to fix the static on a older TV buy giving it a swift smack on the side?

New School

Nowadays there are some TVs that can do everything your computer can. Not only are they much slimmer and more elegantly designed than the TVs from the past, you can access a variety of channels from around the world, as well as get access to other digital content from the internet.

Video Games

Old School

If the names Super Mario, Sonic The Hedgehog or Pac-Man ring any bells then you’re undoubtedly an old school gamer. Back then games where available on cartridges and gave us all hours of solid 8-bit fun.

New School

Today’s games and home gaming consoles have come a long way since the Nintendo consoles of the 80s. The graphics are life like, the gameplay is more in-depth and there are thousands of different titles available across a multitude of different genres.
