Nokia Is Making A Comeback Early Next Year

0

Following an acquisition by Microsoft the Finish-based manufacturer Nokia halted production of any new phones; that is until now.

Nokia is back and will be releasing two new models as early as the first quarter of next year

We haven’t heard much from Nokia after the brand was acquired by Microsoft, and all subsequent Nokia phones were discontinued in favour of the Lumia range. Now there’s a new phones page on their website stating that we can expect new Nokia phones in 2017. No word on any Nokia tablets or phablets yet, but we’ll keep you updated.

The new Nokia devices will be running using the Android OS platform, which isn’t a first for the company. Nokia experimented with Android just prior to be bought by Microsoft in the form of any iPad Mini-like tablet which ran using the Android OS.

We’ll be left waiting until next year before any further details as to whether the new Nokia phones can complete with the likes of iPhone and Galaxy.
