LG’s G6 vs Samsung’s Galaxy S8

0

The battle for Android supremacy is heating up in 2017 with both LG and Samsung releasing the best phones they’ve made, to date.

Both handsets have a phablet size displays in smaller phone bodies which means that the screen to body ratio averages in the region of 80%. Keeping up the similarities, both handsets are waterproof with IP68 ratings as well as a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and both use Android 7.0 as the operating system.

The LG G6 is currently on sale with a recommended retail price of R12 099 (or from R10 999 on PriceCheck) while the Galaxy S8 will be on sale from 5 May (pre-orders are currently open) with a recommended retail price of R15 499, however you can find it on PriceCheck from R12 999.

If you can’t decide which of these Android powerhouses should be your next phone, we’ve put together a head-to-head comparison of both handsets to help you decide.
