Which fridge is the right one for me?
Fridges are one of the most varied kitchen appliance that you can buy. Fridges differ in their size, storage capacity, installation limitations and pricing. We’ll go over a few different types of refrigerators and what they’re bet suited for.
Top Freezer Refrigerators
This is the most popular type of refrigerator and also the most affordable. These fridges typically feature a freezer at the top with refrigerator storage at the bottom. If you’re looking for a standard fridge in terms of size and installation, and something with a reasonable price-tag, then this is the right fridge for you.

Side-by-side Refrigerators
These fridges feature a refrigerator and freezer that run parallel to one another across the width of the appliance. They tend to have more storage space than top freezer refrigerators, as well as being more space efficient. Many of them also come with features like ice and water dispensers built into the doors. These tend to be more expensive than standard fridges.

Bar Refrigerators
These small, compact fridges are mainly used to keep drinks cold rather than food. They have the advantage of being affordable and designed to accommodate a variety of different drinks like wine bottles, juice boxes or cans. However, because they are so small they cannot really accommodate larger food items.

Which food processor is right for me?
Different food processors offer different uses, and are used to process different food types. Lets of over a few different varieties and see which functions that accomplish in the kitchen.
Blenders
These are used mainly to blend or mix soft foods or liquids, and some models come with sturdy blades which are used to crush ice blocks. They are ideal for making smoothies, healthy juices and other types of drinks.

Large food processors
These are the traditional type of food processors and usually range in capacity sizes between 5 – 12 cups. They can either have a single disc, which is used more for slicing and dicing, and larger models with multiple discs that can be used in different applications. They are also available with different attachments and accessories to increase their functionality.

Casserole pan
A larger, deeper cooking pan that is used in preparation and serving. They are made from materials that can be used for baking and cooking on the stovetop, dishes that are prepared in a casserole pan include soups, casseroles, lasagne and different meats.

Grill pan
A large, shallow pan that is mostly used for grilling. They can be used in place of any outdoor grill such as a braai, and are perfect for preparing meats such as fish, chicken or red meat along with roasting different vegetables.

Saucepan
They come in different sizes, but are usually rounded and deeper in relation to it’s width. They can have a variety of uses but are mostly used with preparing dishes that involve liquid ingredients. They are mostly frequently used when making soups or sauces.

Frying pan
This is the ideal pan to use when preparing slightly fried food. Keep in mind that it is not really suitable for deep frying, but rather for making dishes like stir-fries, omelettes, fried eggs and other dishes that involve using small amounts of cooking oil or butter for frying.
