Huawei continues to wow the local market with feature-packed, budget-friendly devices. Now the brand has unveiled some new entries into the smartphone and smartwatch ranges, namely the Huawei Nova 8i and Watch 3 series, along with their local pricing and availability details.

Featuring a 6.67-inch Edgeless Display, the Huawei Nova 8i offers quite a bit for its price bracket, and features a 64MP AI quad camera, which is comprised of a main camera, an ultra-wide angle camera, a macro camera and a depth camera.
The Huawei Nova 8i also comes with 66W Huawei SuperCharge and 4,300mAH three-electrode battery, which means that it can be fully charged in less than 40 minutes, or charged for two hours of gameplay within just five minutes.
The device also features 128GB of internal storage, 8GBs of RAM, and houses the Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 octa-core chipset.
The Huawei Nova 8i is priced at R6,999, and is available from 1 October 2021.

Simultaneous with the announcement of the Huawei Nova 8i, the company also revealed the brand-new Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro.
The Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro support a standalone communication system. This means that you can stay connected even when you’re doing outdoor activities or when you find it inconvenient to carry your phone. By simply activating the eSIM service on your Huawei Health App on your smartphone, you can have the same phone number on your Huawei watch, and enjoy the same data and voice tariff plans as you do on your phone.
These smartwatches also feature ultra-long battery life, running up to five days without needing to be charged in smart mode and up to 21 days in ultra-long battery mode.
The Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro both feature 3D curved glass that offers a clear and vibrant display that is smooth, scratch-proof and fingerprint-resistant. The body of the Watch 3 is made of 316L stainless steel that has undergone a cold forging and PVD coating process, While the Watch 3 Pro is made of an aerospace-grade titanium fused with a sapphire glass lens.
