Great news for movie lovers; while the movie industry has been shifting and changing to cope with the challenges brought about by the global Covid-19 pandemic, March is gearing up to be one of the biggest movie release periods in months. Boss Level
Release date: 19 March 2021
Frank Grillo and Mel Gibson star in this under-the-radar action flick which sees a retired special forces officer trapped in a never-ending time loop on the day of his death. It looks quite humorous, pretty dark, and definitely action-packed, and we can’t wait to see how it pans out.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League
Release date: 18 March 2021
Thanks to a devoted internet campaign, this re-cut four-hour-long version of the 2017 DC superhero team-up is set to showcase director Zack Snyder’s true vision for the film. The movie will include previously unseen footage, newly shot additional scenes, and new elements that were absent from the 2017 theatrical release that director Joss Whedon took over when Snyder left the project for personal reasons. Zack Snyder’s Justice League will stream on HBO Max exclusively.

Chaos Walking
Release date: 5 March 2021
Fans of the cult sci-fi hit Edge of Tomorrow will be glad to hear that director Doug Liman is back in the saddle, this time adapting a set of young adult novels by Patrick Ness. The plot follows two characters in a world where no women exist and every sentient creature’s thoughts can be heard and seen through a phenomenon called ‘Noise’. Todd (Spider-Man’s Tom Holland) discovers a girl named Viola (Star Wars‘ Daisy Ridley) and they must escape those pursuing them to discover the truth about this strange world. It has a great director, interesting source material, and a couple of big A-listers in the starring roles, so it’s all set up to be a potential hit.
Many of the above movies will be hitting streaming services in 2021, so make sure you have Netflix, Showmax, or HBO Max in your home!
