November is here, and it brings with it some stellar gaming adventures for us to indulge in, including the return of a notable assassin, some wasteland shenanigans, and a WWII veteran itching to get its boots on the ground!
Hitman 2
Release date: 13 November 2018 (PC | Xbox One | PS4)
Everyone’s favourite bar-coded, bald-headed assassin is back! While trying to discover his mysterious past, Agent 47 will need to hunt down some elusive targets across six locations, all with dense environments that give you various and gruesome ways of eliminating your targets. Also featuring for the first time in the series is a multiplayer component, which allows two players to go head-to-head with one another to see who can kill their target the fastest while also getting away with it; but, you’ll be playing the same mission at the same time, but in different ‘games’, so you can’t interfere with your rival’s plans.
Fallout 76
Release date: 14 November 2018 (Xbox One | PS4)
Fallout 76 isn’t the 76th instalment in the long-running franchise (that would be crazy), but rather a new multiplayer-centric action-RPG set in the familiar Fallout world, where players can team up with other wasteland survivors, or hunt down other notable players in order to nab their loot and increase their own survival chances. It looks to be a lot of fun that captures the classic Fallout tone, albeit with some new friends by your side.
Battlefield V
Release date: 20 November 2018 (PC | Xbox One | PS4)
A huge release this month is Battlefield V, which is bursting onto consoles and PC, bringing with it a return to the series’ traditional setting: World War II. It’s more of what we’ve come to love from the Battlefield franchise (a fun but short single-player campaign, and a massive multiplayer element), but of course, there are some changes, including the ability to build fortifications, repair war-torn structures, or tow stationary weapons to maximise their devastating firepower.
